Alpe d'Huez Hostage Takers

Armed and masked hostage takers bound and gagged a worker from the lift pass office at l'Alpe d'Huez in France. The robbers threatened his wife and daugthers, aged 13 and 18 years in order to obtain keys and security codes that enabled them to rob the receipts of the lift company (SATA) on Sunday evening. The robbers got away with some 15,000 Euros. A relatively limited haul as most clients pay by credit card. The family managed to struggle free after nearly four hours. They immediately alerted the police.
